Hello, and welcome! I’m Troy Barnum, Owner of Good Life Planning, and my mission is simple — to help seniors live with confidence, dignity, and peace of mind.

With over 30 years of experience in financial services, I’ve built my career around trust, education, and genuine care for the people I serve. Over the years, I’ve owned and managed several businesses, and I’m currently the Broker/Owner of CAZZA Realty and 908 Mortgage in Long Beach, California. Previously, I served as a Certified Estate Planner for 15 years and owned Americoast Financial.

My expertise includes Annuities, Living Trusts, Estate Planning, Reverse Mortgages, and Final Expense Insurance—tools I use to help seniors protect what they’ve earned and plan for a secure future.

I was born and raised in the beautiful coastal city of San Pedro, California, and graduated from San Pedro High School in 1985. Beyond business, I’m a lifelong learner — I studied Classical Piano for 15 years and practiced Martial Arts for 25 years, earning black belts in both Karate and Jujitsu.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me fishing for Bluefin Tuna, hiking, playing tennis, or riding my bike around Long Beach, where I live with my wife Monica, my best friend for over 30 years. Together, we also care for her mother, who lives with us — a daily reminder of why I’m so passionate about helping seniors and their families.
